Join us for a Beer and Wine Evening incorporating the 

PTA General Meeting (GM)

We would like to give notice of a General Meeting of the Walton Heathside PTA, to be held on Tuesday, 12th November 2024. The evening will start at 1900 with the PTA General Meeting, followed by complimentary Beer and Wine at the school.

The PTA plays a vital part in the school community and all parents and carers, as members of the PTA, are invited to the Meeting. This is your chance to hear and see how the funds you have helped to raise have been used for the benefit of the children/students at our school.

The General Meeting is also an opportunity for you to meet & elect the PTA Committee, who represent the association throughout the forthcoming year. Nominations should be sent in advance of the Meeting for anyone wishing to stand as an Officer or Ordinary Committee Member, for the first time. We are especially looking forward to welcome representation from the new Year 7 year group.

Existing committee members will not need to stand for re-election until the first AGM.

If you would like any further information about being a Committee Member, please speak to Michael Judd (07900 435 887). As our PTA is a registered charity, all committee members automatically become Trustees of the Charity and we also ask the Trustees to complete an Enhanced DBS check. Before submitting your nomination form, please read the Charity Commission publication ‘The Essential Trustee – What you need to know (CC3)’. A copy of the booklet can be found on the Charity Commission website.
